Transcriptome analysis of the soleus muscle of wild-type and vasopressin receptor-deficient mice

We aimed to compare the gene expression profile of the soleus muscle between wild-type and vasopressin receptor V1a and V1b double-defficient mice. We dissected mice and collected the soleus muscle. Collected samples were frozen immediately with isopentane in liquid nitrogen then stored at -80 °C. Total RNA was extracted with QIAzol Lysis Reagent and RNeasy Mini Kit. cDNA library for mRNA was prepared with NEBNext Ultra II Directional RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina. Pair-end strand-specific sequencing (150 bp) was performed with NovaSeq 6000 platform.
