The storage facility Rough was the largest gas storage site in the United Kingdom, with a capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters. Stublach followed, ranking second, with a capacity of 410 million cubic meters. By comparison, Holehouse Farm had the smallest capacity, with 20 million cubic meters.
