This dataset includes chronological and grain size data from four loess-paleosol sequences in the western Chinese Loess Plateau and the Hexi Corridor, along with dust activity days, cultivated area, precipitation, and sand-driving wind days recorded at five national meteorological stations. Additionally, it includes historical data on cultivated area and population in China. Overall, this dataset provides a basis for understanding the natural and anthropogenic drivers of dust activity in inland China.
