Timing data, laying parasites

Average time (days) spent in the nest before incubation start, for the eggs of 13 females that laid eggs parasitically before laying in their own nest (laying parasites, see Fig. 5). For each female, “Observed time” is the average time her eggs spent in a nest before incubation start. “One-nest time” is the corresponding average time per egg, if the female had instead laid all her eggs in one nest, with the same timing between her successive eggs. These data were used for the regression analysis described in the paper (Fig. 5).
