Repository for the manuscript by Arshad et al. on the systematic review of zoonotic pathogens in equids in Central Europe. This work examines research trends from 1964 to 2022, research-prioritized pathogens, and those detected in the region over the study period.<b>Geographic area covered by the data:</b><b> </b>Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland.This repository contains the R code to clean and validate the data collected from scientific publications and the final table resulting from these processes. It also contains the R code used to analyse this data and produce the figures and tables presented in the paper.The README file includes the data codebook.
