WWF ecoregion endemism metrics and physiographic variables

For each World Wildlife Fund Ecoregion (see Olson et al. 2001), this dataset provides summary information, such as the biogeographic realm, area of the ecoregion, whether or not it is on an island ("Y"), partially on an island ("P"), or entirely on a continent ("N"), and the average latitude of the ecoregion. In addition, the climate stability of the ecoregion through time (since the Last Glacial Maximum 21k years ago) and the topography of the ecoregion is provided. Finally, the species richness and several endemism metrics (see Shipley & McGuire, 2021) for each ecoregion are provided, along with the average niche breadth of the species resident to the ecoregion.
