The Genbank sequence includes the 22 amino acid signal peptide sequence. The reactivity of mAb A-20 with the VAGLEK epitope contained within the A VD1 peptide is described in Su et al., J Exp Med 172:203). This was also confirmed with a series of overlapping octameric peptides.
