Deadwood data and forest stand characteristics from Mediterranean-Alpine forests

This data set comprises measurementes (volume and number) of three deadwood size-clases (literfall, fine woody debris and coarse woody debris). It also shows other information of forest stands like: species composition, plot basal area, Shannon species diversity index of tree species, tree-size heterogeneity (as gini index) and the abundance of large-size trees.Data is part of the MS entitled: "Does forest diversity drive deadwood accumulation? Evidence from a Mediterranean-Alpine gradient"
