MARS-Micro-CT

The MARS-Micro-CT dataset contains paired low-dose (80 kVp) and normal-dose (120 kVp) Micro-CT scans of a chicken drumstick, acquired on a MARS spectral CT scanner (MARS Bioimaging Ltd., Christchurch, New Zealand) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The projection data were reconstructed into Micro-CT image volumes and co-registered. Both low-dose and normal-dose volumes consist of 5 energy bins, each of size 280 × 1216 × 1216 voxels. This dataset is released to support research on low-dose Micro-CT enhancement and related image restoration tasks.
