This dataset compiles information on sociodemographic characteristics, past medical history, family history of chronic diseases, obstetric history, lifestyle, exercise habits, and smoking and drinking behaviors of pregnant women who underwent their first prenatal examination and voluntarily enrolled with informed consent into the Tongji Maternal and Infant Health Cohort between June 2013 and May 2017 at three hospitals: Hubei Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Wuhan Central Hospital, and Wuhan Jiang'an District Maternal and Child Health Hospital. The dataset contains 5946 records, which were primarily developed through standardized organization of on-site collected survey data.
