Mexico: leading messenger app users 2024, by age group

According to a 2024 survey, 36 percent of users of messenger apps in Mexico were aged between 18 and 29 years. Among these apps, Discord had the youngest audience, with 59 percent of its users being aged between 18 and 29 years. Telegram had the second largest youngest audience in the country, with 37 percent of total users in this age group, but also another 40 percent of respondents aged between 30 and 39 years old. Meanwhile, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp also enjoyed more popularity among those aged between 18 and 29 years old.
