Synthetic load and PV generation profiles for energy community coalition formation (LPG-derived, 15-minute resolution, full year)

This dataset accompanies the journal article "Energy community coalitionformation: Why full-resolution data outweighs solver optimality undertemporal and consumer compression" (submitted to Energy, manuscriptEGY-D-26-05934). It supports reproduction of the reported figures andtables, and provides a benchmark for new algorithms that assignprosumers and consumers to legally compliant energy-community groupsunder cardinality caps. Contents - raw_profiles/: 15-minute load and photovoltaic generation profiles for 2,276 synthetic consumer households and 224 synthetic prosumer households, covering a full calendar year (35,040 intervals). Profiles were generated with the LoadProfileGenerator (LPG; Pflugradt 2022), an agent-based behaviour simulator. Each household profile reflects a unique combination of occupancy patterns, appliance stock, and PV sizing. Metadata files record PV capacity, battery capacity, and annual energy totals.- raw_profiles/group_aggregates_15min.csv.gz: group-level surplus and demand at 15-minute resolution for the 46 groups of the case-study community. These aggregates allow reproduction of all figures and tables in the linked paper, including the contribution of metered data that cannot be released individually (see Note on excluded data below).- fig*/, tbl*/: figure-level and table-level CSVs ready to plot, each with a BRIEF.md describing the panel layout and a Python plotting script.- prosumer_grouping.csv: assignment of each prosumer to one of 46 groups produced by the greedy pipeline on full-resolution data (the "oracle" solution in the paper).- Three pipeline consumer assignments (Greedy oracle, MILP-K16, Greedy-S-K16) as consumer_id-to-group_id CSVs.- parameters.csv: tariffs, regulatory caps, EUR/CZK conversion, random seed used throughout the experiments. Note on excluded data The published article reports results computed on a merged dataset ofthe LPG profiles released here plus 194 metered consumer profiles andsix metered photovoltaic installations from a Czech municipal pilot(Židlochovice). The metered profiles are personal data under GDPR andcannot be redistributed; 15-minute electricity consumption isre-identifying. Only the synthetic LPG component is included in thisZenodo record. Group-level aggregates of the merged dataset (seeabove) are provided to allow full reproduction of the headline numbers.
