Data for: "Colloidal silica as a grouting material for the temporary encapsulation of heat-generating radioactive waste during removal and transport operations: a proof of concept"

The .xlsx file contains the results of all the mechanical tests (tensile, shear vane, triaxial) and hydraulic tests (water retention curve determination) presented in the paper. The .zip folders contain a .vol file and .vgi file for each specimen tested in the grouting experiments (GE). These are the files obtained after reconstructing the raw X-ray computed tomography scans (i.e. stacking the 2D slices and applying a beam hardening correction).
