Cross-Country GDP per Capita and Carbon Intensity Data, 1990–2024

This dataset contains cross-country data on economic development and carbon intensity for the period 1990–2024. The dataset includes two indicators: GDP per capita, PPP (constant 2021 international $) — GDP per capita converted to international dollars using purchasing power parity rates and expressed in constant 2021 prices. Carbon intensity of GDP — CO₂-equivalent emissions relative to GDP measured at purchasing power parity. The data are organized by country and year and can be used for cross-country and longitudinal analyses of economic development, carbon intensity, decarbonization, environmental performance, and related topics.
