Transcriptome assembly and peptides from black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae associated with myotropic potential and antibacterial properties
收藏资源简介:
The industrialization of the aquaculture sector has been accompanied by a strong demand for raw materials to meet growing feed requirements. The protein-rich black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) (BSFL) are currently farmed industrially to produce defatted protein meal and fat. This study aims to assess the bioactive potential of the soluble fraction of BSFL meal – also called stick water – potentially correlated with health and well-being benefits for the farmed aquatic species. Data set deposited associated to the Article "In silico and in vitro investigations of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae meal bioactivity: myotropic potential on the intestinal tract of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and antibacterial properties against various pathogens" hard_filtered_transcripts_annotated.fasta.zip : full transcriptome de novo assembly of Hermetia illucens larvae annotated with EggNOG Mapper description field. S1.xlsx : List of neuropeptide protein precursors identified in the Hermetia illucens transcriptome. S2.xlsx : List of protein precursors of antibacterial peptides identified in the Hermetia illucens transcriptome.
