资源简介:
Chaetodontidae (Butterflyfish) are typical fish in coral ecosystems and important ornamental fish. Butterflyfish was affected by the deterioration of coral environment and its population was reduced, thus the study of its genome is imminent. Butterflyfish varied greatly among species, i.e. in body color pattern, feeding ecology, etc. It is fascinating how genomic alterations drive phenotypic diversity. We first reported three Chaetodontidae genomes (Chelmon rostratus, Chaetodon trifasciatus and Chaetodon auriga), and a colse species of Pomacanthidae (Centropyge bicolor). We also presented a chromosomal level genome map of C.rostratus as Chaetodontidae reference genome.
