De novo Transcriptome Assembly of Three Hyotissa Species

The genus Hyotissa, a group within the family Gryphaeidae, exhibits significant ecological and economic value but remains understudied at the molecular level. We performed de novo transcriptome sequencing of three Hyotissa species (Hyotissa sinensis, Hyotissa inaequivalvis, and Hyotissa sp.) to systematically identify and characterize the superoxide dismutase (SOD) gene family, a key component of the antioxidant defense system.
