资源简介:
Wild bees were sampled at 49 study sites in Braunschweig at three sampling events during the year 2019, using coloured pan traps in blue, white, and yellow. Sites were selected to maximize urban gradients across study sites, with a mean distance of 941 m (range: 158 - 2711 m) between adjacent sampling points. In parallel, a vegetation survey was conducted to characterise the local vegetation at each sampling point. The data set contains data of the wild bee abundance and richness at each sampling point and abundance of wild bees grouped depending on their traits (body size, nesting and pollen-collecting behaviour). The vegetation characterization contains proportion of canopy cover, mean proportion of vegetation cover at 50 - 100 cm height in early summer, species richness of flowering plants, and proportion of species of flowering plants with recording at multiple sampling events. Detailed information about the sampling and methodology can be found in the corresponding publication.
