Mineral production value as a share of GDP in Asia 2020, by leading country

The value of Tajikistan's metallic mineral and coal production accounted for a 47.4 percent share of its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2020. That was the largest share of GDP from mineral production activity in any country in Asia that year, and worldwide, in fact. Mongolia had the second-largest mineral production value share of GDP in Asia that year, at 23 percent.
