资源简介:
Contemporary young athletes have been shown to attain elevated levels of performance and exhibit divergent physiological responses to training in comparison to adults [13]. Given their comparatively reduced lung volumes and heightened exercise requirements, it is hypothesized that preadolescent athletes may derive greater benefits from IMT compared to adults. However, studies evaluating the integration of circadian rhythm-based exercise approaches with IMT are limited in the literature, and the effects of this integration on physical fitness, especially in fit child athletes, have not yet been adequately investigated. A review of the extant literature on respiratory muscle training and exercise performance revealed a paucity of studies that have examined the effects of IMT when added to circadian rhythm-based running exercise interventions on physical fitness in fit child athletes. In this context, the primary hypothesis of the present study is that the incorporation of IMT into a circadian rhythm-based running exercise program will enhance Six-Minute Walk distance, agility, and respiratory parameters in fit preadolescent male soccer players. Accordingly, the objective of the present study was to investigate the effects of IMT in addition to a six-week circadian rhythm-based running exercise program on physical and respiratory fitness in preadolescent male soccer players.
