资源简介:
Conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) measurements have been performed in the eastern end of Cambridge Bay offshore of the future site of the Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS). This preliminary investigation will help establish the ideal location and depth of the seawater intake pipe for CHARS, and meet the salinity and temperature targets for seawater for the CHARS aquaria. CTD measurements in other areas of Cambridge Bay, as well as in Dease Strait and Queen Maud Gulf have been performed as part of a general investigation of seawater properties at different depths in the waters south of Victoria Island.
