Doctor-to-Doctor Teleconsultation

Introduction: During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, accessing healthcare facilities can increase the risk of infection. Teleconsultation represents a solution to this critical situation. Using social media to communicateamong physicians and between physicians and their patients has peaked during this pandemic. Methods: The case study design adopted aims to assess the doctor-to-doctor teleconsultation experience during the COVID-19 era. This case study involved a private social media group of medical practitioners in Egypt. All COVID-19-related group posts over one year were categorized into either problem-related posts or information-sharing posts and then further analyzed. Additionally, an electronic survey was conducted to evaluate the satisfaction of group members.
