伽羅木醇型土肉桂為台灣特有樹種，含有高含量精油，精油主成分為S型伽羅木醇，佔精油組成95%以上，為目前世界罕見的精油樹種。伽羅木醇型精油具有抗焦慮功效，本計畫分析精油與黃酮類變化，開發降憂鬱產品。
Cinnamomum osmophloeum ct. linalool is endemic species in Taiwan. Its leaves could extract more than 95% of S-(+)-Linalool higher than existing plant records. Linalool essential oil has anxiolytic effects. This plan analyzes the changes of essential oil and flavonoids to develop anti-anxiety products.
