Images and Site Records from Archaeological Works at Parkside Link Road, Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside 2022

This collection comprises images, scanned site records and drawings from archaeological works by Oxford Archaeology (OA) North prior to the development of Parkside Link Road, Newton-le-Willows, St Helen's, Merseyside. The works consisted of a strip, map and record of the area, a historic building recording of Rough Cottage and Rough Farm Barn on Winwick Lane, and a watching brief following their demolition. They were undertaken as a condition of planning permission ref.: P/2018/0249/FUL relating to the construction of a new road to link the proposed Parkside development to the east of the A49 and the M6.
