资源简介:
Aspergillus fumigatus is an opportunistic fungal pathogen causing deadly infections in immunocompromised patients. Genes essential for fungalsurvival as well as important for cell wall synthesis are considered as potentialdrug targets. Glutamine fructose-6-phosphate amidotransferase (GFA) plays a pivotal role in UDP-GlcNAc biosynthesis, the essential precursor for cell wall chitin formation.. Our aim was to reveal the metabolic pathways affected by GFA deletion by transcriptome analysis.
