ADVANTAGES OF SOCIAL MEDIA TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' WRITING SKILLS

With the rapid advancement of educational technologies, digital platforms have become increasingly important in language instruction. This study aims to develop and evaluate the impact of social media platforms on the writing skills of language learners. Traditional writing tasks are often associated with fear of making mistakes and negative evaluation. In contrast, social media-based writing activities tend to be more informal, interactive, and motivating. Through a survey at UzSWLU, the research analyzes motivation, vocabulary growth, and peer feedback. Findings suggest that integrating digital tools like Telegram into the curriculum enhances students' writing willingness and linguistic accuracy.
