Raw Data - DOM 08006 Batch 1 Experiments

Raw data to accompany the manuscript entitled "<i>Permeability as the first-order control on the rate of aqueous alteration in carbonaceous chondrites</i>" submitted to <i>Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta </i>in fulfilment of the Data Sharing policy of <i>GCA</i>.This work was conducted as part of my PhD project, where hydrothermal experiments were employed to simulate various alteration conditions on carbonaceous parent bodies. The variables tested were water-to-rock (W/R) ratio and duration, with temperature (80 °C), closed system conditions and head gas composition (N₂) kept the same across all experiments. Whole chips of the CO3.00 chondrite Dominion Range (DOM) 08006 were used as the protolith. A series of bulk rock and spatially resolved analyses were conducted to comprehensively assess the effect of W/R ratio and duration on the style and extent of aqueous alteration. All data were compared to an unaltered control.Please read the Accompanying Document for further details about the instrumentation and analytical protocols used.
