WV County Boundaries

Data Current as of July 2026 Digitized off of USGS 1:24,000-scale Digital Raster Graphics (scanned topographic maps) by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection. First published January 2002, updated with Census 2000 attribute data and re-published March 2005. Note: An October 2025 Court Order modified a portion of the Jefferson-Berkeley boundary, placing several disputed lots along the western border of Jefferson County in Jefferson County. The new boundary reflects a surveyed boundary line delineated on the Quail Ridge and Chapel View plats and has been agreed upon by both counties.本数据集截至2026年7月更新，由美国西弗吉尼亚州环境保护厅基于美国地质调查局（United States Geological Survey, USGS）1:24000比例尺数字栅格图（Digital Raster Graphics，即扫描版地形图）数字化制作而成。该数据集最初于2002年1月发布，后依托2000年人口普查属性数据进行更新，并于2005年3月重新发布。备注：2025年10月的一项法院判决对杰斐逊县与伯克利县的部分行政边界作出调整，将杰斐逊县西部边境沿线的多片争议地块划归杰斐逊县管辖。新边界以鹌鹑岭（Quail Ridge）与教堂景（Chapel View）地块规划图上标注的实测边界线为准，且已获得两县的共同认可。
