Multipurpose fluorescent nanocarriers: environmental behavior, toxicity and internalization on marine microalgae (FAIR dataset)

The present dataset contains environmental behavior data (DLS - dynamic light scattering; zeta potential), UV-vis and fluorescence (emission) data and ecotoxicological data, in particular, growth inhibition effects of umbelliferone (UMB), silica mesoporous nanocapsules (SiNC) and silica mesoporous nanocapsules loaded with umbelliferone (SiNC-UMB) towards five marine phytoplanctonic species (Tetraselmis chuii, Nannochloropsis gaditana, Isochrysis galbana, Phaeodactylum tricornutum, and Chaetoceros calcitrans).
