Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) Literature Database, Version 2, 2020-2021 (Preliminary Release)

The Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) Literature Database, v2, 2020-2021 contains biographic information, abstracts, and analysis of 1,575 articles published from 2020 to 2021 that used the SSPs. The articles were from searches at Google Scholar, EBSCO, GeoRef, JSTOR, PAIS, ProQuest, Web of Science, and University of Helsinki’s library catalog. The articles include peer reviewed publications (journal papers, book chapters) and gray literature (working papers, reports, substantial conference proceedings, etc.). The database was generated by a manual examination of the results for the articles that made substantial use of the SSPs. Each article was then analyzed and coded along a number of different ways, including categories of papers or analysis, number of subcategories for SSP development and applications, particular Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) used, and particular SSP-RCP combinations used.
