Basilisk simulation setup and model output for "Fine-Scale Dynamics of a Hydrothermal Plume from LES and Observations at Lucky Strike"

This archive contains the numerical simulation dataset and Basilisk setup used in the study “Fine-Scale Dynamics of a Hydrothermal Plume from LES and Observations at Lucky Strike” (Lemaréchal et al.). It includes: The full Basilisk simulation configuration A representative model output in ParaView-compatible VTU format Post-processing script used to extract vertical plume diagnostics The simulation resolves in a Large Eddy Simulation a buoyant hydrothermal plume injected at 300 °C into a linearly stratified environment. The vent is of centimetric scale. The setup is designed to run with the open-source Basilisk framework (Popinet, 2013), using release 21-05-05 available from the official repository http://basilisk.fr/
