Rally Around the Flag against Foreign Policy Sanctions: the Turkish Case

This research aims to examine the rallying around the flag effect within the framework of a two-phase model. Initially, the study conducts a case analysis of the United States sanctions imposed on Turkey after Turkey's Cyprus Operation. Subsequently, a survey research approach involving 1320 participants is employed to elicit opinions under diverse scenarios, gauging their support for national leadership and state policies implemented under specific conditions.
