资源简介:
The current study aimed to examine the impacts of alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) on oxidative stress parameters and the expression of fibronectin and laminin in the renal corpuscle of male Wistar rats following exposure to diazinon (DZN). The animals were distributed into the following groups: control, DZN (40 mg/kg), DZN + ALA (40 mg/kg + 100 mg/kg), ALA (100 mg/kg), and sham. Diazinon induced lipid peroxidation and oxidative stress and reduced the distribution and mRNA expression of laminin and fibronectin. ALA reduces the nephrotoxic effects of diazinon. In conclusion, ALA plays a therapeutic role in the treatment of oxidative stress-associated toxicities and diseases.
