The Board was set up under the auspices of the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission to review the position of settlers in respect of area of farm, indebtedness etc., in accordance with the Irrigation (Amendment) Act, 1926. There are minutes of the Board's meeting at Griffith, May 1931; also a report on Covering Formula for determining payments on Horticultural farms for the financial years 1929/30 and 1930/31.
