Development of chromosome level genome assembly for American mink. Neogale vison

The primary purpose of this project is to develop the tools required to implement traditional genetic and advance genomic selection in the mink breeding industry. This effort will rely on the application of high throughput genotyping of high-density SNPs, which will allow us to provide the industry with the first SNP panel for American mink (Neogale vison).
