Surface Imagery based on helicopter-borne observations during MOSAiC
收藏资源简介:
Helicopter-borne surface fisheye imagery taken during MOSAiC. 24 research flights were conducted by helicopter, 5 by HELiPOD, a tow-probe measurement system. HELiPOD research flights can be identified by the name of the respective directory.
Black areas indicate masked parts of images due to visible parts of carrier.
Images can be used to classify surface into different surface type fractions, as described in Sperzel, T. R. Codes for: Surface Albedo Measurements and Surface Type Classification from Helicopter-based Observations during MOSAiC, https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7974021 (2023).
Black masked areas should be considered as such. Results are described in Sperzel, Tim R; Jäkel, Evelyn; Lampert, Astrid; Birnbaum, Gerit; Pätzold, Falk; Neckel, Niklas; Rosenburg, Sophie; Fuchs, Niels; Wendisch, Manfred (2023): Surface type classifications from helicopter-borne imagery during the MOSAiC expedition.
