资源简介:
The photosynthetic Bradyrhizobium ORS285 strain displays the ability to induce the formation of nitrogen-fixing nodules on the root and stem of some aquatic tropical legumes of the Aeschynomene genus. Unlike the previous photosynthetic Bradyrhizobium strains sequenced (BTAi1 and ORS278), this strain does contain the canonical nodABC genes necessary for the synthesis of the Nod factors and displays a broader host range. Depending on the considered host species, two symbiotic processes can be distinguished, a classical one involving NF perception and an alternative one which is NF independent and for which the symbiotic signal molecules remain to be disclosed. The ORS285 strain appears therefore as an interesting model to do comparative analysis between these two distinct symbiotic mechanisms.
