Susceptibility of honey bee to entomopathogenic nematodes

This dataset contains experimental data on the susceptibility of honey bee (Apis mellifera) brood and adult workers to Australian isolates of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) from the genera Heterorhabditis and Steinernema. The data include mortality rates from ex situ (filter paper Petri dish) and in situ (brood comb and subcolony) bioassays conducted at 25 °C and 33 °C, across different EPN concentrations and developmental stages (larvae, pupae, adults). Additional data cover the effects of Varroa destructor parasitisation on larval susceptibility and comparisons of virulence among isolates, notably H. indica Hi.HRN2 and S. feltiae Sf.CPBR2.
