Study of aerobiome on dust particles (size segregated) transported from different air-mass sources in the East Mediterranean

Potentially active and dead bacterial communities transported on different sizes of particulate matter from various source origins in the East Mediterranean investigated. All samples were collected at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Bacterial DNA and RNA were extracted and amplicon-sequenced. The data were analyzed to determine the effect of the different parameters (e.g. air-mass source and particulate matter size-class) on the microbial community composition (i.e., potentially active and dead members).
