<b>Hysteroscopic tubal occlusion using iso-amyl- 2-cyanoacrylate with or without Ethiodized oil in patients with hydrosalpinx prior to IVF</b>

45 infertile women with hydrosalpinx divided into two groups at random. Patients with genital tract infections, intrauterine adhesions, or unexplained vaginal hemorrhage were excluded.Interventions: Group I (n = 25) underwent hysteroscopic tubal occlusion using a combination of iso-amyl-2-cyanoacrylate and ethiodized oil, whereas Group II (n = 20) underwent the procedure using just iso-amyl-2-cyanoacrylate. After the injection, the patients were told to report any abdomen or pelvic pain, fever, vaginal discharge, or uterine bleeding. If not, HSG was performed to confirm complete tubal occlusion. In each group, patients who experienced partial or failed tubal occlusion underwent reinjection with the same occluding material, and a follow-up HSG examination was performed to verify complete tubal occlusion.
