Reproductive Period Bioenergetics of the Kelp Gull (Bioenergetica del Periodo Reproductivo de la Gaviota Cocinera)

This study investigates the breeding and feeding biology of Kelp Gull at Antarctica. The study includes data on the following: - Breeding chronology; - Breeding success; - Feeding tactics; - Feeding times; - Displacement behaviors; - Pursuit behaviors; and - Kleptoparasitic behaviors. Periodic sampling of food items (Antarctic limpets, in particular) is conducted to gather information on energetics and estimates of food availability.
