Experimental data for the article titled "Self-Assembly of a Layered 2D Molecularly Woven Fabric" by August et al. This work describes the formation of a layered 2D fabric that is woven at the molecular level by utilizing Fe(II) templated 3x3 interwoven grids as building blocks.
