This report contains a subset of preliminary elemental data collected in the Elkhorn Slough wetlands using a portable X-ray Fluorescence detector (XRF). The XRF measurements were re-taken by Dr. Aiello with the same instrument in the same quadrats in the days after the Vistra Power Plant's lithium-ion battery storage facility fire. Here, data from a subset of these quadrats is shown to illustrate both the spatial variation and the overall increase in likely battery-associated metals.
