Nasal Microbiome in Indigenous Populations

Exploration of nasal microbiomes in indigenous populations in Peninsular Malaysia (Orang Asli) using 16S rRNA resequencing, to address the significant gaps in indigenous nasal microbiomes. The composition and diversity of nasal microbiomes were investigated, and associated with factors including living environment, gender, smoking status and abdominal obesity.
