This Manual, which provides a comprehensive account of the Australian Wheat Collection's functions and procedures, was compiled by K.J. Symes, the Curator of the Collection, at the request of the Wheat Industry Research Council. The Manual gives a brief history of the establishment of the Collection, and its organisation. It then gives a detailed account of accessioning and indexing procedures, as well as the requirements and difficulties of the air-conditioning system.
