This study characterizes sex-specific aging in D. miranda at the chromatin and gene expression levels. A major goal of this study is to assess how de-repression of heterochromatin and repetitive elements differs between males and females as they age. Data includes H3K9me3 ChIP and total stranded RNA from aged brain tissues.
