A studio portrait of two women belonging to the Los Angeles Branch of The Knights and Ladies of Security, a fraternal organization which began in Topeka, Kansas in 1892. The photograph was taken at the Old Mission Studio in Los Angeles, 1912. The full length portrait shows two women standing at three quarter view, facing left, in their uniforms consisting of a plumed cap, coat with a long cape, full length dress and heeled boots. Emblazoned on the collar is "No. 737." The photograph is set into a brown paper folder with a embossed decoration on the outer flap. The photograph is in good condition, but the folder is tearing at the fold.
