uropathogenic Escherichia coli were isolated from UTI patients in Kirkuk city. bacterial DNA was isolated then ran for the gene(s) sfa/foc DE by PCR. the PCR product was sequenced in the sangar dideoxy sequencing method, the goal was to determine the nature of this genes sequence and its variation with global isolates.
