The CityLearn Challenge 2023 Dataset

This is the dataset used for <a href="https://www.aicrowd.com/challenges/neurips-2023-citylearn-challenge">The CityLearn Challenge 2023</a>.

It contains the schema, buildings, weather, carbon intensity and electricity pricing datasets for Phases 1, 2 and 3 in separate folders. Note that the same dataset is used for both forecasting and control tracks. The difference between phase datasets that have the same name but different suffix number e.g. <code>citylearn_challenge_2023_phase_3_1</code> and <code>citylearn_challenge_2023_phase_3_2</code> is the <code>random_seed</code> used to set their power outage model.

The CityLearn version that was used for The CityLearn Challenge 2023 can be installed through pip:

Earlier and later CityLearn versions may also be compatible with this dataset but could produce different simulation results.
