Transcriptomic analysis of the hepatopancreas across a moult cycle in juvenile ornate spiny lobster (Panulirus ornatus) aimed characterise chitin metabolism for exoskeleton production across the moult cycle. Gene expression analysis identified differentially expressed genes across 6 distinct moult stages and characterised genes associated with the biosynthesis of chitin.
